From left, Kevin Oriri (Young Communist Youth League) , Benedict Wachira ( General Secretary CPK ) , Booker Ngesa Omole ( Deputy Chairperson and National Organizing Secretary CPK), Gacheke Gachiki ( Secretary Mass work CPK), addressing the members of press at the office of Registrar of Political Parties in Nairobi, they were accompanied by Nairobi branch leaders.

The final judgement delivered at the Nairobi Law Courts has confirmed that CPK is indeed Gazetted according to the laws of the land.

The childish and flagrant application by the state sponsored busy bodies that sought to have the CPK leadership jailed for supporting communism and that opposed the change of Party name has been dismissed today.

Not only the Kenyan workers, peasants and their class allies but also the global communist movement has emerged victorious.

Now that the matter has been marked as settled, the Party shall intensify its mass and cadre recruitment exercises across the country.

CPK was ably represented by the Second Liberation Hero, Senior Advocate Cde Hon. Gitobu Imanyara.
