Comrades and allies of the anti-imperialist struggle, in the historic streets of Athens, where the struggle for democracy and resistance converge, the World Anti-Imperialist platform gathers to confront the rising tide of world war and outline the tasks ahead for all steadfast anti-imperialists. The Communist Party of Kenya (CPK), committed to internationalism, stands among the participants, represented by Booker Ngesa Omole, the National Vice Chairperson of the Central Organizing Committee.

This crucial event, unfolding from November 17 to 20, is not merely a conference; it is a battlefield of ideas, a bastion against opportunism, revisionism, and sectarianism. The Communist Party of Kenya has continuously suffered due to incorrect ideas, and it is indeed our duty to continue the ongoing rectification program in the party and extend these debates. The Athens gathering signifies a tactical moment for the international communist forces to consolidate, exchange ideas, and fortify our united front against the neoliberal forces.

As the world witnessed the Ukraine war last year, these conferences and seminars have evolved, achieving remarkable organizational milestones through joint anti-imperialist actions. The Athens conference, themed "the rising tide of world war and the tasks of anti-imperialists," is poised to delve deeper into the current global situation and address the three main objectives of the platform: promoting the anti-imperialist struggle, engaging in the ideological battle, and consolidating international communist forces.

CPK recognizes the urgency of this internationalist call to action. The event's program, from the anti-imperialist march on November 17 to the international conference on November 18, and the subsequent seminars, reflects a comprehensive approach to tackling the multifaceted challenges posed by imperialism.

In the spirit of solidarity, the Athens event will host meetings between general secretaries and international secretaries, as well as leaders of youth organizations. This signifies a collective effort to bridge generational divides and ensure the continuity of the anti-imperialist struggle.

CPK, as an observer during the internal meeting of the platform's members, pledges to contribute to the discussions, emphasizing the need for an in-depth analysis of the world situation. As the global landscape shifts rapidly, our party is poised to share insights, broaden the anti-imperialist mass struggle, establish correct ideas and lines, and strengthen the bonds within the communist camp.

The Communist Party of Kenya echoes the call for principled unity at the national, continental, and global levels. The struggle against imperialism knows no borders, and our commitment to constructing a new humane society rooted in international socialism remains resolute.

In solidarity,
