The Communist Party Marxist Kenya (CPMK) condemns in the strongest possible terms the latest act of imperialist aggression by the United States of America against the sovereign people and government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

In a shameless display of gangster politics, the US Attorney General has placed a $50 million bounty on the head of the legitimate and constitutional President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, fabricating the absurd charge that he is the “head of Latin American drug trafficking” and responsible for the decay of America’s own youth — a youth whose destruction springs not from Venezuela, but from the rotting corpse of capitalist decadence within the United States itself.

This is nothing less than a declaration of war against the Bolivarian Revolution. It is the continuation of a long imperialist campaign — economic sanctions, sabotage, assassination attempts, diplomatic isolation, and now open threats of military intervention — designed to strangle the revolutionary process initiated by Comandante Hugo Chávez and carried forward by President Maduro and the Venezuelan working people.

Donald Trump, the clownish mouthpiece of US monopoly capital, has openly instructed his military machine to treat sovereign Latin American nations as mere extensions of US “national security interests”. This is the same Monroe Doctrine in new clothing — the same doctrine that invaded Haiti, overthrew Allende in Chile, and slaughtered patriots from Grenada to Panama.

Let us be clear: this bounty is not about “justice” or “drug trafficking”. It is about oil, gold, and control. Venezuela holds the largest proven oil reserves on the planet, and imperialism seeks to seize them, to break the anti-imperialist front in Latin America, and to intimidate all nations that refuse to kneel.

The Communist Party Marxist Kenya stands shoulder to shoulder with the heroic people of Venezuela, with the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), with the Bolivarian Armed Forces, and with President Nicolás Maduro. We affirm the right of the Venezuelan people to defend their revolution by any means necessary.

We call upon all African progressive forces, trade unions, student movements, and people’s organisations to reject the criminal siege of Venezuela and to rally in defence of her sovereignty. We remind the African continent that the same imperialism that blockades Caracas is the same imperialism that plunders Africa, militarises our soil, and imposes neocolonial dictatorships on our people.

Hands Off Venezuela!

Down with US Imperialism!

Long Live the Bolivarian Revolution!

Victory to the Venezuelan People!

Booker Omole General Secretary, Communist Party Marxist Kenya (CPMK) October 17th, 2025 Caracas, Venezuela   omuna o Nada: The Question of Power in the Age of Imperialist War Comrades, the slogan “Comuna o Nada” — the commune or nothing — is not merely a Venezuelan proclamation; it is a universal cry of the proletariat in our epoch of crisis. It affirms that without transforming the relations of production, without uprooting imperialist domination, and without transferring power from the exploiting classes to the working people, there can be no socialism.   Today, [ ... ]

November 2, 2025   The Communist Party Marxist Kenya stands with the people of Tanzania in this moment of heightened danger. The ruling class across East Africa is tightening the chains of monopoly finance capital. The mask of liberal democracy is falling. Behind it stands naked reaction. Behind it stands fascism in African colours.   President Samia Suluhu Hassan has presided over political developments marked by aggressive interference from foreign capital. We are witnessing new assaults by the corporations and financial institutions headquartered in the old imperial centres. They want [ ... ]
